Gastronomia

11:46 PM

To celebrate post common test on the day of last paper,
Alicia and I decided to just head down to holland v and pop by any cafe that we felt like heading into.
and so, this was where we ended up at:
The setting of the place really caught my eyes, and so did all the dessert that was in the fridge.
Just that I didn't know to enter or not as it didn't seem to provide proper food but thank God Alicia suggested to go in and check it out anyway.
it's actually a pretty small place with probably around 14 seats inside?
But it's a super great place if you're planning to just sit around and chill with a friend.
There's not much people though as the place wasn't filled up the whole time we were there.
BUT!
They actually do have quite a large range of food considering the size of the place.
They had 2 large open fridges like this, 1 for food and 1 for dessert.

Despite all the sides and desserts, they do provide main meals such as pasta & pizza if you're looking for something more filling.
The mushroom pizza and smoked salmon ones really caught our eyes.
we ordered the mushroom one as ordered a salmon spinach kind of thing.
shall try the smoked salmon one the next time i head down

Honestly i preferred the pizza over the salmon spinach thing.
1 thing i didn't really like was that the utensils provided wasn't strong enough to cut the pizza.
So it was quite hard to eat in a glamorous way (well, i tried step abit but failed..quite terribly).

This is us while waiting for our food ^^

The desserts were amazing though!
it was pretty much what attracted our eyes from the moment we walked by the store.
The variety they had was huge and everything looked sooo good i was spoilt for choices.
In the end we settled for
TIRAMISU AND CREME BRULE!
Words can't express how much i loveeeeeeeee tiramisu and although this wasn't the best i've tasted i have to say it was quite good.
I know you want some (;

As for the price, the main meals are ranging from $9-17
and dessert probably around $4 onwards depending on the size if my memory didn't fail me.
In my opinion, this would definitely be a place I'll be back to visit cause there's quite some other things that i'll love to try and I really liked the environment.

The nearest mrt station is Holland Village.
It's under some blocks, away from all the other shops and bars that you'll usually see.
The place is located at:
  • 43 Jalan Merah Saga #01-74
  • Singapore, Singapore 278115
  • for any further info do visit their facebook page or website

Ending off the post with us being really happy with our dessert.
Dang it, now i'm craving for dessert at almost midnight.
Oh well, ta ta~ ^^
